Unresolved woundedness is the root of anger. Reconciliation was at the heart of Christ. Jesus taught that if we don’t deal with anger, life will deteriorate, transferring anger into others and a root of bitterness will spring up, leading to isolation and rejection, cutting us off from the rest of the people in the body of Christ.
In Matthew 18, Jesus says it’s more important that you go and be reconciled with your brethren, than for you to fulfill your religious obligation. Jesus desires to see each person set free from woundedness and unforgiveness that hold us back from our destiny.
